All in one slim small box that mounts directly to your radio unit (intermediate level installation is required). This product seamlessly enhances the original factory system by adding an intermediate module. It preserves the car screen, style, and functions while enabling CarPlay/Android Auto and Mirroring (please note Mirroring has been disabled by iPhone latest iOS, we are working on a software update), transforming it into a versatile all-in-one intelligent radio unit.

Better Option

Works as promised. Allows you to keep all original vehicle's infotainment system features. Much less expensive than replacing head unit's and losing some of the original features. Highly recommend.

Best AA and CarPlay experience you can get without replacing the head unit.

While not perfect, I believe this is the best possible experience you can get while retaining factory features like 360 degree cameras.
I only have a few nit-picks which I understand why they exist, so I don't count them against the product, carsynctech did an amazing job!
The nitpicks:
Your audio and visual experiences are separately configured. All the audio goes through the OEM head unit, and the addin module can not control that, so if both drivers are in the car you need to make sure Bluetooth is connected to the correct phone in the OEM interface first, then connect to the correct phone in the addin unit. If you are a solo driver this won't be a problem, it will auto connect and start on its own.
This may be restricted to my Highlander hybrid, but there is not enough room for the XM module and this. If you tore the dash apart you may be able to stuff it behind the airbag on the passenger side, but it is way too tight to fit in the original space. You can just omit it with no negative consequences besides not having XM (who needs it with this?) so don't bother buying the extension cables if you have a Highlander. There may be more room in other vehicles though.

Besides that I am extremely happy with the picture quality, the retention of the 360 cameras, etc. thanks!

This will allow you to use cruise control in 30 zones and even when the car in front of you stops completely. Works flawlessly with comma 3 which will turn your car into a self driving tesla. Highly recommended.

Installation of this unit was not to difficult. Modification of base unit was a little tricky as instructions missed minor details. There was a hidden screw for detaching the screen, and the ribbon cables were tight with the satellite module left in place. The instructions total missed the option to leave XM unit on and the connection of wires. Unit fit back into dash but is extremely packed tight. Operation seems good but I still need time to live with it on a daily bases to judge. All radio functions work as to stock head unit.
