The system also uses the original car microphone and It is compatible with the car's steering wheel controls, such as up/down song controls, and answering/hanging up calls.

I couldn’t be happier with the decoder for my 2014 4Runner! I’ve had it installed for a year now and having Apple CarPlay capabilities has been an absolute godsend! I use Google Maps everyday even when I know where I’m going just to see if there’s traffic along the way and this has enabled me to not have to touch my phone at all while driving. Using Siri to call my wife has been a game changer also, no more fumbling with my phone taking my eyes off the road I just say “hey siri, call Christy” and it starts the call. I just recently purchased a head-unit from a 2021 4Runner and will be installing it alongside CarSyncTech’s new E3 decoder for Entune 3.0, I’ll leave a review for that product after testing it out a bit.
Works as advertised. The staff was super helpful and responsive. Would recommend this company and product.
